The Ancient Rodas Bridge is situated in Caldelas, on the Amares department, in the heart of the greenish Minho region, on the North of the Country, over the amazing Homem river.
This bridge was part of the road that linked Braga to Ponte da Barca, presenting a medieval construction, even though it is popularly referred to as “Roman”, due to its ancientry and the many Roman occupancy archaeological vestiges of the territory.
The bridge is characterized by its three arches, the central one wider that the laterals, and a plan roadway with granite fends.
