Information

The Menhirs of Lavajo probably belong either to the End of the Neolithic period or to the Copper Age or Chalcolithic (3500 to 2800 BC).
These Megalithic monuments can be interpreted as marks of territories and/or sacred spaces.

The set of Menhirs of Lavajo consists on three big stones (one having a phallic form). With a length of 3,14m of height it is the larger known in Portuguese territory.
