Facho Peak

Facho Peak is the highest point of the amazing Brasil Mount, at about 205 metres high, providing an astonishing panorama over the World Heritage town of Angra do Heroísmo, in Terceira Island, Azores Archipelago.

Brasil Mount is an extinct volcano, forming a peninsula and two beautiful bays (Angra and Fanal Bays), composed by four Peaks, among them Cruzinhas, Vigia and Zibreiro.
In Brasil Mount is situated the Monte Brasil’s Forest and Leisure Reserve, of great historic and natural importance, habitat for several species.

From Pico do Facho one has an excellent panorama over the heritage and natural beauty of Angra do Heroísmo, and also a glimpse of the delights of Terceira Island, as well as the magnanimous beauty of the Atlantic Ocean.
