Pedra de Ouro Beach

The access to the Pedra de Ouro Beach is made through the lovely forest road parallel to the coast, where there are several residences.
The sandy area is extensive and surrounded by dark slopes, due to the presence of marl.
In the northern slope, an abandoned wind mill can be seen, and on the horizon is located charming São Pedro de Moel and its lighthouse.
Despite all the accesses into the sandy area, the most safe is on the south area, where is also located a small car parking, a bar, toilets, and a good access to the lifeguard area.
This beach is often looked for by sport fishermen.
