Ribeira Grande Beach

The Ribeira Grande Beach is located on the northern coast of the wonderful São Miguel Island, on the Azores Archipelago, nearby the urban centre of the town with the same name.

The Beach presents an extensive sandy area, marked by the sea waters that carve it in many areas, almost transforming it into two distinctive beaches.
The water conditions are also quite appreciated for the practice of activities such as surf or body board.

The beach also provides several facilities such as the bathhouse, toilets, showers, bar service and lifeguard, as well as wooden accesses and a parking lot with about 100 parking spots.
