Senhora da Ribeira Fluvial Beach

Filled with beauty and peace of mind, the famous Senhora da Ribeira Fluvial Beach is quite looked for by the local inhabitants and also the several visitors of the lovely Santa Comba Dão’s region.

The ancient Mondego and Dão rivers valleys gave place to big deposits of still water, with the construction of the Aguieira Dam, forming perfect places for the most diversified activities of leisure, sport and even cultural.

The Beach presents good conditions and supports for all visitors, allowing pure leisure moments or simple nature contemplation.

Here is also located the Senhora da Ribeira Chapel, what is left nowadays of the ancient locality that with the construction of the Dam got submersed, and the Chapel was transferred stone by stone to this paradisiacal place, in homage to the Saint.
