The Vasco da Gama Tower Viewpoint is situated in the top of the Vasco da Gama tower, in Lisboa’s western side, in Parque das Nações.
With 140 metres high, the access to the viewpoint is made by one of the three exterior lifts.
The view from the top is astonishing, and the light is supreme, considered by many professional photographers as one of the best lights in the world.
The Vasco da Gama Tower is a structure with 145 meters high, prepared to resist to strong winds up to 320km/hour, built for the Expo 98, the World Exhibition of 1998 that took place in Lisboa, and changed all this urban area that is nowadays the Parque das Nações (Nations Park).
In the top of the tower is situated also a charming Restaurant with an astonishing view over the blue waters of the Tagus river and the south bank, and also a great view over part of Lisboa.

At the moment, the Tower is closed to the Public, as the construction of a luxury hotel is taken place, with 21 floors and akin to ship’s Sails.
