Although the town itself is not by the sea, Loulé region has a good variety of beaches, where are situated some of the most well-known tourist resorts in the Algarve.
The mountain range typical of the Algarve inland, where the town of Loulé is located, is very charming and interesting, specially during the period when the almond trees (another Arabic inheritance) bloom.
